Do you still follow big comic events or just read casually?

I hadn't read comics for years, but one evening I was browsing different entertainment sites and somehow ended up reading about a new X-Men event. I expected to close the page after a minute, but instead I spent quite a while looking into how the new story connects with older characters. It reminded me why I used to enjoy comics so much. I don't think I'll ever collect every issue again, but now I definitely pay more attention whenever a new storyline starts.

I went through something very similar. Whenever I lose track of a long-running series, I prefer finding a short overview before deciding if it's worth jumping back in. This is what I use: https://www.firstcomicsnews.com/x-men-age-of-revelation/. It helped me understand the general direction of the latest storyline without feeling like I had to read years of older issues first. After that, getting back into reading felt much easier because I already knew the basic setup. I still don't try to follow everything, but having a quick reference makes it much more enjoyable and less confusing.
